Dear Steve,
Believe it or not I have been with this organization for a little over
one year. It is true that "time flies when you're having fun."
I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to go into business
for myself. The way you and the rest of the team operate shows that a
lot of time and effort went into building this company with a family focus
and a lot of support.
What I mean by this is you have given me every opportunity to succeed
with comprehensive training, tech support, parts and marketing services.
I started this business from scratch and with the knowledge, tools and
confidence you gave me I am making a comfortable living after one short
year.
Thanks for your continued support and the opportunity to realize my dream
of owning my own business.

It was a great decision to join The Dentist's Choice. I was looking for
a way to start my own business and I was tired of working long hours on
a manager's salary with little benefit to myself. Steve's honesty in answering
questions about the franchise was very important in my decision.
I really appreciate the freedom I have to pursue a career as I want and
to make friends and have fun in the field while doing it.
The technical support and quality of repairs I get from you guys are great.
I really like the new manual, especially the precise means of breaking
down or reassembling the handpieces. The tech tips in the newsletter are
most helpful.

Dear Steve - I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for
your support. It is refreshing to work with an organization that is interested
in our personal successes and failures. More importantly, it is nice to
have you, who not only listens to us, but also finds ways to help improve
our business. I can hardly wait for the time when we can compete equally
with "the big boys." As it is, we are giving them fits at every turn by
being so competitive.
It was my pleasure to fill out the questionnaire you sent out. Some of
the questions really made me stop and think. I know that more good will
come out of the responses. This will, again, help us to improve and make
us more competitive. It was as pleasant surprise to receive the teeth
magnets, especially with my phone number included! Thank you for the gift
and all of your support.
Sincerely,
Don

Dear Steve,
I am writing to express my thanks to you and the entire Dentist's Choice
staff.
In the 11 months since my wife and I purchased a franchise, we have
felt that it was a true investment in a winning team.
There has always been an open door to ask questions from how to use
QuickBooks® to advice on marketing strategy. One night Bruce and Dave
stayed late to help me work on a difficult handpiece and Bruce diagnosed
a defective collet holder over the phone and immediately sent me a new
one (I had no idea why I was having tightening problems)!
As you know, Bob Penney recently stayed with us for a few days of "on
hands training", which helped Mary become a more active part of the
business. By working in the field, our confidence and techniques have
improved. Bob was very informative, helpful and motivating. While he
stayed with us he helped me build an office in the basement of my house
to create a more "work friendly" atmosphere. I found Bob to be as good
with a hammer as he is with marketing strategy!
In addition to the
corporate staff, we have met some friendly franchise owners who are
very informative and supportive. I feel this helps to build depth in
this competitive handpiece repair business.
Thank you all for being so committed to the success of your franchise
owners!

I wanted a business that would give me more weekend time with my family.
Being the industry leader and having the most number of franchisees was
the most important consideration that led me to decide on TDC. Being able
to draw a salary after only a few months of operations has been the single
biggest reward. Your organization has been very professional. The quality
of service and technical support has been excellent.

I was between corporate
careers and was looking for something different. The benefits of having
no employees, no store front, a minimal capital investment (made my
investment back in six months), good margins, and working with professionals
were key to my joining.
Your new repair manual is awesome.very professional and the marketing
material is really good. I plan on retiring in June '06 and plan to
go full time TDC at that point. I can't wait.
You are all the answers to a prayer. I am impressed how you run TDC
like a business and deal with us in a professional way. Like I mentioned
previously, I'm looking forward to going full time and doing a substantial
amount of business.

I desired to have a home-based business which wouldn't require employees,
would generate a strong profit and allow me to improve and expand my skills
in operating and managing my business. The key points in my joining include
1) working with professionals, 2) provide a service with repeat needs,
and 3) be with a progressive franchise group, i.e. - new products, new
methods and training on new handpieces.
I have successfully doubled the gross receipts in my second year and continue
to grow the business every day. Thank you for your open phone policy for
advice about business marketing and technical support, which I still use
weekly, going into my fourth year of operation.
Myrna, David, Mike, Nona and Steve are always ready to help me at any
time. I take great comfort in knowing "I am not alone" in operating my
franchise.
